Based on Sydney's Northern beaches, I am an artist who explores painting birds and still life. I use acrylic and watercolour paint, charcoal, graphite and a growing collection of mixed media. I add realistic details to engage the viewer and express the key nature of the subject. Then, freely applied brush and pencil work, and unexpected colours shuffle the everyday, inviting you to fill the details in, in your own way.
